Hebrew School
Our Children’s Learning Center is designed to create an environment where our children learn to love Judaism and to recognize the equality of all people.
We have always been proud in saying that once our students have become Bar or Bat Mitzvot, they are able to pray in any synagogue in the world. The students learn Hebrew, a love of Israel, an understanding of the holidays and a deep appreciation of our history and culture. Our religious school is unique because the students almost never miss, and, contrary to many of our memories of what Hebrew School was like, the students actually look forward to studying their religion and culture.
Jewish families take the responsibility of teaching their children through holiday traditions, pride and Jewish values. Fortunately, our little Shul continues that tradition by appealing to the young people of today. Beth Ahm's faculty expands this teaching of Judaism into an extraordinary experience, nourishing our children with exciting ways to explore our history and language. Through games, lively discussions and laughter, our students learn in small groups. Rabbi Aaron Kriegel and Cantor Marsha Schreier expand the students' education through close interaction, discussions and the beautiful sound of our Jewish music.
The teachers and community of Beth Ahm provide a well-rounded Jewish education to our children from third grade through Confirmation. The Children's Learning Center runs from September through May, two days per week. Family Shabbats and Jr. Congregation take place monthly. It is never too late to enroll your child.
